Weber Middle School: School Info & FAQs

WHERE DO I DROP MY CHILD UP / PICK THEM UP?

Crossing guards are located at Bogart Ave/Orchard St and Vanderventer Ave/Port Washington Blvd. It is suggested to drop your child off on or near these corners. When picking up your child, arrange to meet them in a similar spot. DO NOT drive up Campus Drive or into the Weber Circle to drop your child off between 7:00 am to 8:30 am and 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

DROPPING YOUR STUDENT OFF EARLY FOR A MORNING CLUB OR EXTRA HELP?

Students may enter the building for clubs or extra help through the cafeteria doors off Weber Circle (the driveway off Port Boulevard).

Weber Circle is not open to cars before school hours. This is a bus drop-off location. Instead, drop your student near one of the crossing guards (Bogart Ave/Orchard St or Vanderventer Ave/Port Washington Blvd). Please DON'T tuck and roll your child on Port Boulevard in front of Weber. Tempting but dangerous.

WHAT IF MY CHILD IS ABSENT OR NEEDS TO BE PICKED UP EARLY?

Please call your house office to report your child being absent or if you need to pick them up early. Your child should let their teachers know as well and should be prepared to make up any missed work.

HOW DO I MONITOR MY CHILD'S WORK AND GRADES?

In the past, teachers often had students bring home quizzes and tests to be signed by their parents -- and many will still do that this year. But more grades will be logged and communicated electronically. As a result, many teachers are using Aspen to keep parents up to speed on how their kids are doing. Students and parents have Aspen accounts. Login HERE and check each classroom to see if your teachers have posted anything new. (And some teachers won't be using Aspen. They'll let you know how grades will be communicated in their class.) Need a login and password? Contact your House Office HERE. Staff can get you set up.
