What You Need to Know Now

Watch the most recent Weber HSA Meeting for Updates on COVID, Clubs & More

Click HERE to watch on the Weber HSA's YouTube channel. Principal Javeline and Weber's administrative team answered parent questions on a dozen important topics. Here are some highlights:

* Morning drop-off: Students who are dropped off will need to stay outside until shortly before school starts. This will continue all winter. Dress warm!

* Clubs and recess: Clubs are very popular this year! Kids are getting lots of fresh air and sports activities before school and at lunch.

* Library: The library is open 8am-3pm. Students can ask teachers for a pass to get & return books.

* Questions or concerns for your teachers? Contact them first by email and then, if needed, follow up with a phone call to the house office.

* Chromebooks: Please ask your student to be careful with their Chromebooks. Lots are getting damaged.

 * Heavy backpacks: Try to find the (popular) binders with shoulder straps. Students carry the binder on their shoulder, leaving the backpack lighter. If the load is still too heavy, ask for a meeting with your child's teacher team to discuss.

* Quarter 2 update: Learn about Weber's Encore classes and how your student's schedules will change.

* And be sure to tune into our January HSA meeting for a fascinating (and chilling) presentation on Internet safety. More details to come.
